About Me
Hi.
I'm Dr. Gonzalez, Science Teacher here at Carnegie. This place is absolutely awesome.
I love teaching at Carnegie for the following reasons:
1. The atmosphere at Carnegie is really forward striving, with all of our educators promoting College/Career Awareness.
2. The staff here is EXCEPTIONALLY knowledgable. I mean, seriously, they are smart!
3. My students are great. They learn a lot with hands activities and creating notebooks that they will take with them onto high school.
90% of my assignments are on Google Classroom , but grades are posted in Schoology . So, internet access at home is ideal.
I advise Robotics after school (we have a USC Robotics Competition coming up), and I also sponsor the Geek Club (We geek out about sci-fi, anime, comics, etc). We have a twice a year trip to Long Beach Comic Expo.
